S4C’s motorsports series Ralïo has undergone a makeover as the new series returns on Thursday, 9 July, under the new name Ralïo+. There will be a chance to see more from the exciting world of motorsports – from motorbikes to formula 3 – not to mention the best from the World Rally Championships.

Keith Cronin selected again for Pirelli Star Driver Shoot Out

Motorsport Ireland, the governing body of motorsport in Ireland, has selected Keith Cronin, the 2007 Billy Coleman Award winner, as its candidate for the Pirelli Star Driver competition, which will give a number of young rally drivers the opportunity of competing in a series of six World Championship Rallies in 2010.

Mark Higgins and Lynn Newby win Greenerways Rally

Sunday’s Greenerways Rally took the Eco Tyre project a step further, Mark Higgins (pictured above on the Jim Clark) and Lynn Newby leading the event which went some way to simulate a full rally traversing a forest stage.
