BOSCH SUPER PLUS RALLYE 2009 – results and video: Raimund Baumschlager wins in Fabia S2000

Raimund Baumschlager won the 2009 Bosch Super Plus Rallye in Austria for the third time.

The Skoda Fabia S2000 ran faultlessly throughout and was fastest on 10 of the 13 stages which Baumschlager attributed to the testing and development work.

Baumschlager commented at the finish:
This is the second win for the car and team. This proves that the work during the testing is going in the right direction.

Jänner-Rallye 2009 results and videos: Raimund Baumschlager scores dramatic win

Raimund Baumschlager (Evo 9) won the Austrian Janner Rally in dramatic fashion after Andreas Waldherr retired his VW Polo S2000 on the penultimate stage after dominating the two day event.

Bernardo Sousa will test a Skoda Fabia S2000 and Mitsubishi Evo X to decide what he will use in the 2009 PWRC

Madeirian PWRC driver Bernardo Sousa is believed to be testing a Skoda Fabia S2000 and Mitsubishi Evo X to decide what he will use in next year’s PWRC. Sousa has been competing in the PWRC for the first time this year in his Red Bull Rallye Team Mitsubishi Evo 9 and is seen, very much, as a future WRC talent.
