The 1989 Circuit of Ireland Rally witnessed Jimmy McRae, driving the Ford Sierra RS Cosworth, win the event for a record seventh time.
The rally witnessed another titanic battle between Jimmy McRae and Russell Brookes in similar machinery as their rivalry continued on towards the end of the 80s. MSD Opel Corsa OPC Super 2000 will make its competitive debut this weekend in Greece

The MSD Opel Corsa S2000 will make its first competitive appearance on this weekend’s Black Rose Rally in Greece.
The MSD car will be driven by Greek pilot Haris Kaltsounis who is an experienced Opel driver and is reported to have bought the car which will be run by Motor Sports Developments. The Corsa OPC Super 2000 was homologated on the 31st October.

Opel Corsa OPC S2000 has successful debut in the hands of Austin MacHale on the Cork 20 Rally

Austin MacHale debuted the MSD Opel Corsa Super 2000 as course car on last weekend’s Cork 20 and pronounced himself happy with the machine.
