Aurskog Høland Rally 2009: Victory for Mads Ostberg in the Subaru S10 WRC

Mads Ostberg and new co-driver Jonas Andersson have won the Aurskog Høland Rally, the latest round of the Norwegian championship, in their Adapta run Subaru Impreza S10 WRC.
Ostberg was using the older S10 model as the S14 is currently in Greece in preparation for the Acropolis Rally. Anders Grondal took second overall awith his Subaru Norway S10 after a close contest with Ostberg.

Anders Grondal will not have a programme in the Adapta Subaru World Rally Team for the 2009 WRC
Anders Grondal will not be competing in the Adapta World Rally Team on the 2009 WRC as his sponsor Valvoline couldn’t invest the millions required, due to the current economic downturn.
Grondal had hoped to possibly be included in the Adapta World Rally Team next year, to drive a Subaru S14 alongside Mads Ostberg. That will not now happen but he and Valvoline are working together for a WRC programme… Continue reading

Mads Ostberg will have his own Manufacturer Team in 2009 WRC and will be supported by SWRT
Young Norwegian sensation, Mads Ostberg (20), will almost certainly have his own Subaru Manufacturer Team to contest next year’s WRC, according to NRK Nyheter. Ostberg has the blessing of Prodrive and the Subaru World Rally Team will lend their support .
