Alistair Fisher has been awarded a wildcard entry to the Fiesta SportingTrophy (FST) International Shootout

Alastair Fisher has been chosen as the wildcard entrant to represent Ireland at the forthcoming Fiesta SportingTrophy International Shootout 2008.

The shootout will take place on the 9th and 10th December. Fisher will be competing against a number of other hopefuls for a chance to win a 12 month contract working with the BP Ford Abu Dhabi World Rally Team in the 2009 WRC.

System Signs Enniskillen Clubman Stages Rally 2008 Results: Alistair Fisher wins in the Ford Fiesta ST

There were 9 stages, totalling approx 35 miles, using two locations that made up the Derrygonnelly based Enniskillen Clubman Stages Rally, with six stages at Lough Nevar and three at Bothwell. Stewart Clarke was fastest on the first stage in his Escort Mk2 ahead of Damien Toner in another Escort with Alistair Cochrane (Mk2) third and Fisher fourth in the Fiesta.
