Mark Higgins finished a creditable 4th overall in his MG S2000 on the rather historic 3-Städte-Rallye in Germany.
He had been in a battle with Hermann Gassner Sr, who was in an Evo X, for much of the rally but Gassner got back ahead of him to claim third. Ieuan Thomas was co-driving for Higgins on the event.

Loeb pulled away from his pursuers as he recorded fastest time on nearly all of today’s Rally Germany stages, to lead by just over 40s his teammate Sordo. Duval was quickest in shakedown today for the ADAC Rallye Deutschland but is playing down his chances on the rally. The shakedown was a 5.8km test near the event’s base in Trier. Dani Sordo came second just .6 of a second behind with Hirvonen third. Seb Loeb was fourth just 1.1s behind Duval.
