STI, Impreza to contest Nurburgring 24-hour race

This May, SUBARU Tecnica International (STI) heads to the Nurburgring circuit for the “37th ADAC Zurich 24 Hour Race” (24 Hours of the Nurburgring) with an originally tuned version of the Impreza WRX STI aiming for a class victory.

ADAC-Bayern Rallye Oberland 2009 results and video: Hermann Gassner Jr wins in Evo9

Hermann Gassner jnr (Mitsubishi Evo9) won last weekend’s Rallye Oberland which was the first round of the German rally championship (DRM).

The rally was initially led by Peter Corazza (Evo7) after the first leg but Gassner jr set a string of fastest times on the second day to take and hold the lead until the finish. ADAC-3-Städte-Rallye (Three Cities Rally) 2008 Results: Werner wins in his Porsche 911 GT3 as Higgins is fourth in the MG S2000

Mark Higgins finished a creditable 4th overall in his MG S2000 on the rather historic 3-Städte-Rallye in Germany.

He had been in a battle with Hermann Gassner Sr, who was in an Evo X, for much of the rally but Gassner got back ahead of him to claim third. Ieuan Thomas was co-driving for Higgins on the event.
