Gigi Galli closes on rally return after Abarth Punto S2000 test in Italy

Gigi Galli has tested an Abarth Punto S2000 on gravel recently in Italy and is looking at making a return to the sport next year, according to Motorsport News.

Galli has only competed on the Bettaga Memorial Rallysprint last December since breaking his leg after an horrific accident in Germany 2008.

SATA Rallye Açores 2009 – Anton Alen Abarth test Gramas – photos

Anton Alen was testing for Abarth on the Gramas stage today, Sunday 3rd May, ahead of next week’s SATA Rally Azores.

The test was mainly centred on the Punto’s tyres and suspension settings for an event which is going to be vital for Abarth’s IRC title challenge this year.

Petter Solberg tested an Abarth Grande Punto S2000

Petter Solberg completed a test session behind the wheel of a Grande Punto S2000 this week, “with a view to participating in a few international rallies” indicated an Abarth press release.
