Suzuki could enter three SX4 WRC’s for the Repco Rally of New Zealand 2008
Suzuki could enter three SX4's for the upcoming Rally New Zealand according to Crash.net. As well as Toni Gardemiester and PG Andersson a third car could also be entered, although no driver was mentioned. New Zealand was originally meant to be the debut of the SX4 S2000, but with that project on hold until the technical regulations are fully ratified it would now appear that Suzuki are completely focused on the WRCar.
Chris Carr, chairman of the organising committee for Rally New Zealand, states that Suzuki have entered the usual two cars but there is a possibility of a third. Who this could be is anyone's guess and it isn't clear if this would be a commercial drive or not. Suzuki are due very soon to test in Finland where they will be trying new engine mods.
