According to GPWEEK.com the Suzuki WRT appear to be slightly guarded about their paricipation in the 2009 WRC.
Speaking to GP WEEK Suzuki Motor company representative Ryohei Matsumoto stated:
We are busy making plans for 2009 but there is no commitment at this time that we will continue in the FIA World Rally Championship.
We expect we will be able to announce what we will do at Rally Japan."
Newly appointed team director Shusuke Inagaki was slightly more optimistic:
New Zealand was a breakthrough for us. For the first time we didn't have any technical failure with our cars, the same in Spain. We are happy with this."
