Stuart Jones was forced to retire from Rally Bohemia after SS10 with power-steering failure. Jones had been happy enough with progress until then as felt had the MG set up well for today's stages and had been as high as 11th O/A after setting a couple of fifth fastest stage times.
His retirement in the MSD MG S2000 echoes that of Mark Higgins' from Ypres as Higgins also suffered power-steering failure in the BGM MG. Jones next rally in the MG is the BRC Rally Isle of Man at the end of July where he hopes for a similar result to the JCMR where he was second O/A. Roman Kresta won the rally driving a Mitsubishi Evo9 and he would appear on course for the Czech championship this year.
