Petter Solberg is to test a Peugeot 307 WRC in the near future, despite an upturn in performance with the Citroen Xsara in Greece, according to autosport.com.
He is expected to drive the 307 next week on a test session, just before he heads off to Rally Poland where he will still be using the Xsara.
Solberg commented to autosport.com:
I still have to test the Peugeot. I have to know. I really want to keep the Citroen now. We will find a lot more out in Poland, especially if it's going to be fast like Finland.
Solberg's main concern is Rally Finland where he feels the Xsara will be at a distinct disadvantage in the power stakes. The Peugeot 307 WRC is noted for its powerful and strong engine.
