Petter Solberg has stated in an interview yesterday with Swedish news site nwt.se that he plans to continue rallying next year.
Solberg commented to nwt.se:
My head hasn't been on a pillow as I haven't slept in two days. I am working like hell. We will see what happens the next few days. I talk to people in Japan and England and I am trying to know where Subaru is in all this.
It is tough, but I work on and just look forward. It (the WRC crisis) will hopefully resolve itself.
Asked if he would consider rallycross (he has a homebuilt rallycross Subaru at home) next year instead of rallying Solberg replied:
No, no! There is not a chance I will change over to rallycross now. It is just a hobby.I want to run in the World Rally Championship next season"
