Patrick Snijers will use a Subaru Impreza S12 WRC in the 2009 Belgian Rally Championship

Patrick Snijers, BMA's Bernard Munster and GEKO (Snijers principle sponsor) owner Wim Soenens were in Ireland on Monday to purchase a Subauru S12 WRC from Derek McGarrity, for Snijers to use in the 2009 Belgian Rally Championship.
The S12 is an ex-Atkinson, Arai, Sarrazin car from 2006; registration GT55 SRT. The BMA team will run the car as Snijers looks to secure his 8th Belgian title. Snijers hopes to rent a good S2000 car for the IRC Ypres Rally in June.
It is also thought that he might contest the Euro Rally Challenge in the S12 while he will use the Porsche 911 GT3 on selected Belgian national events.
