Patrick Snijers enjoyed himself so much on this year's Ypres Rally that he is already in negotiations to do next year's IRC, according to autoklub.pl. Snijers, who finished fifth at Ypres, states has plans to purchase a Kronos Peugeot 207 S2000 and may even compete on this year's Madiera Rally which is a round of the IRC.

Wim Soenens, CEO of the company GEKO and Snijers sponsor, states that they are in negotiations with interested sponsors and that a deal would also include the Belgian championship next year. Snijers fifth place in Ypres has given him the lead in this year's Belgian championship. This, incidentally, was Snijers 30th attempt at Ypres, a rally he has won 4 times.

Snijers stated he was impressed with the S2000 cars but felt he was at a disadvantage to Loix on Ypres, as his car weighed 30-40kgs more than Loix's.
