Skoda Motorsport have been testing on the Remédios test which will be used as the shakedown stage for the 2009 SATA Rallye Azores.
Juho Hanninen and Jan Kopecky were both present at the test session as the team finely tune the set-up of the Skoda Fabia S2000s prior to the gravel event.
Hanninen commented recently about starting as first car on the road in the Azores:
It's not going to be so easy in my position. But I don't believe it will be such a big problem either. Yes my car will be sideways more but it is a very good car and I am very confident I can get a good result.
Both Skoda drivers will be hoping for greater success on the Azores rally following their impressive IRC debut on Rallye Monte Carlo.
