Skoda Fabia Super 2000 livery for the Barum Rally 2008

The Skoda livery has been unveiled that the car will have when it performs course car duties on this weekends Barum Rally in Zlin. This will be the car's first outing on the stages, though no official times will be posted. The car should be homologated for the 1st January 2009 but no official confirmation has been made yet. Jan Kopecky will drive the car in the Barum event.
Head of Skoda Motorsport Michal Hrabanek commented:
For us it's an extremely valuable experience, the opportunity to test the behaviour of the vehicle and its individual components in terms of fair competition and individual performance. The results and findings of this test, should move us forward towards the successful homologation and the subsequent development in competition at both national and international level. We will work closely with importers and our representatives and also plan to offer the car for private car teams."
