Sebastien Ogier to compete on Eifel Rallye as preparation for Rallye Deutschland

JWRC sensation Sebastien Ogier will tackle Germany's Eifel Rally in July to prepare for Rally Germany 2008. Ogier, who has been the star of this year's JWRC and leads the series, is also taking part in Rally Finland this year in his C2 S1600 even though it isn't one of his nominated rallies.
The FFSA and Red Bull backed driver is obviously gaining experience for the future and this may be a sign he is about to step up to the full WRC next year. Red Bull are keen to run a two car "junior" squad, possibly next year with Citroen using C4's and Ogier would be natural a choice. Also, Andreas Aigner would be another candidate as is backed by Red Bull and is contesting Rally Finland despite it not being one of his PWRC nominated events.
