Gilles Schammel is to contest the Belgium Ypres Westhoek Rally in a PH Sport prepared Peugeot 207 S2000, according to autonews-magazine.com.
Schammel will use the same car that Conrad Rutenbach campaigned on the recent Sata Rallye Acores for the IRC encounter. The only experience Schammel has had with a Super 2000 car was during a brief test with a VW Polo last year.
Schammel contested the JWRC last year and currently competes in the Citroen Belux Racing Trophy.
There are now 11 Peugeots, 3 Skodas, 2 Fiats, 1 VW, 1 Opel and 1 Proton provisionally entered in the S2000 category for the Belgian event. Entries for Ypres close on Friday.
