The WRC will incorporate S2000+ from 2011. The formula will be based on S2000 and Group N to incorporate an add-on kit (turbo and wing), S2000+ cars will also have sequential gearboxes and bigger brakes. Restrictions on mechanical aids will be in place as well. The formula is expected to be met with consolidation from the manufacturers as have been in regular consultation with the WRCC throughout. Teams such as Mitsubishi, Fiat, Skoda and Peugeot are likely to seriously consider a return to WRC, others expected to consider also. Luckily Max Mosely's 2WD option wasn't considered as many potential manufacturers would probably not consider entering, or even some existing ones, such as Subaru, withdrawing.
