RockStar Energy Drink has become the associate sponsor of the Excel Rally Championship 2009.
The exciting new championship in Ireland is open to any competitor in any class of car tackling 10 events from 21 qualifing rounds. The top prize is a season in a S1600 car on the 2010 Irish National Championship.
RockStar was founded in the US in 2001 and sponsor leading Rally America driver Tanner Foust. This announcement confirms RockStar's move into the European market place
Ray Gavin of Excel Rally commented:

The RockStar Energy Drink Tents will be at all the Rounds of the Excel Rallying Championship in 2009 and will add colour and some welcome refreshment after a hard days Rallying"
