Breen wins Moonraker to take commanding lead in Irish National Forestry Championship
Ray Breen took a convincing win on the Moonraker Rally to lead the Forestry championship after two rounds. Kenny McKinstry finished second as Breen claimed fastest times on every stage. Andrew Purcell was using Derrick Jobb's Evo 6 as his Subaru's engine was damaged prior to the event, he finished 8th after suffering a broken driveshaft.

BTW - looks like the Donegal Rally will have a new name for its sponsor as Shell in Ireland will become known as Topaz. The company, Topaz, which owns Shell and Statoil in Ireland, will rebrand its garages etc, with the name Topaz.
Philip Morrow has been entered in the forthcoming Granite City rally in a Mitsubishi WRC 05, this would be his first event in a WRC car. The car is an ex Gigi Galli and Panizzi, it will be run by the works team. John Easton has finally been able to secure the outfit. The deal for Morrow was completed by his personal sponsors. BTW the Evo 6 Philip used on the Border Counties (retired on SSI) was an ex-Ramsport Mikkelsen recce car.
The car Morrow will use on the Granite City Rally, KR 53 YPO
