RallyIstanbul latest + WMSC meeting tomorrow to ratify WRC blueprint

Not long to go and entry should be out tomorrow. Panizzi looks set to drive a Punto s2000, should expect around 15-20 S2000's on list. Shaping up to be a great championship this year and difficult to pick a winner. Series looks set to rival WRC, although FIA keen to avoid conflict with many WRC events set to become IRC events on their year out of rotational calendar.

WMSC meeting this week to ratify WRC blueprint, which looks like S2000+ but Max Mosely would like rear wheel drive S2000's to be considered although WRCC likely to vote against as manufacturers want S2000+. Also expect Regional Rally Car proposals to perhaps be ratified. Whatever way these are interesting and critical times for the world of rallying. Expect Vision 2012 to be mentioned tomorrow.
