RallyBuzz poll “what’s the best championship” a look at the British Rally Championship

Continuing with the poll and it is now time to consider the BRC. A championship which used to be at the very pinnacle of the sport but now finds itself rebuilding. Still regarded by the Scandinavians as ideal training for the WRC, just ask Jari-Matti Latvala. With Group N as the main category there are often very exciting and close battles, Mark Higgins and Guy Wilks a case in point.
The championship also features a good blend of gravel and tarmac events, regarded by some as the best in Europe. Examples include the likes of the Ulster Rally and the Pirelli International which uses the stages of Kielder Forest. With S2000 becoming the dominant force in regional championships expect to see more soon on the BRC and a round may feature in the IRC in the future.
