The RallyBuzz Top 10 Questions with Stobart’s Urmo Aava

In the run up to the forthcoming Rally Ireland which takes place from January 28th to the 1st of February, RallyBuzz spoke briefly to Urmo Aava just before the announcement was made that he would be driving for the Stobart team in the '09 WRC season.

Urmo and Co-driver Kuldar Sikk will be running a Stobart Ford Focus WRC 08 with regular Matthew Wilson as the points nominated drivers on Rally Ireland.

 Estonian

3. What was your First rally?

 "Valge Daam " in Estonia 1998

4. What are your ambitions for 2009?

 I hope to get many best stage times and lots of points

5. What are your hobbies?

Fishing

6. What was your first car?

 WV Golf 1

7. How did you get into rallying?

My father was a rally driver.

8. Best gift given to you by a sponsor or fan?

To drive in the WRC

Stobart VK M-Sport Ford
