RallyBuzz Top 20 Questions with Fiesta SportingTrophy International competitor and Turkish model Burcu Çetinkaya
Back in May, I visited the Rally d'Italia Sardegna and had the opportunity to see the cars and drivers from the first round of the The Fiesta SportingTrophy International (FSTi).
The FSTi series takes in six rounds of the FIA World Rally Championship calendar.

Run by M-Sport, the team behind the BP Ford Abu Dhabi World Rally Team. The series and enables competitors to embrace the high profile of the WRC in a cost effective way, while still receiving a high level of co-ordination and management from the UK based manufacture.
In this special RallyBuzz.com interview we talk to Burcu Çetinkaya, who is currently in second place in the FSTi ahead of the final round in Wales Rally GB, where she and co driver Çiçek Güney could win the championship from fellow Turkish driver Emre Yurdakul.

Single
RallyBuzz Q5. When and were was your First rally?
August 2005 Turkish Rally Championship Hitit Rally in Ankara
RallyBuzz Q6. What is your favourite food?
İskender Kebab, Cheese Fondue, Sushi
RallyBuzz Q7. Do you have any hobbies?
Shooting, Chess, Basketball, Volleyball, Snowboard, Theatre.
RallyBuzz Q8. What was your first car?
Opel Calibra
RallyBuzz Q9. What car do you drive now?
Ford Fiesta ST
RallyBuzz Q10. How did you get into rallying?
My father was the CEO of Opel, Audi, VW, Porsche in Turkey for years and I was around him watching rallies at the Opel times around 1993 when a very beautiful Opel Calibra was racing in the Turkish Rally Championship and from the first day I watched my first rally in 1993 I loved it.
RallyBuzz Q11. What is your favorite music and group?
My favorite song is Giorni from Mina, I love Guns and Roses, Garou, Danny Briallant especially....
RallyBuzz Q12. If you were not a Rally Driver what would you be?
A motorbike racer
RallyBuzz Q13. What is your favourite rally and why?
From the rallies I have done so far I really loved WRC Finland and Catalunia Rally . Finland because it is fast and tricky and very clean stages with a lot of nice jumps and I love where you can push hard trusting notes without bad road conditions where you have to be more careful. Spain because the area was so beautiful and same good road conditions apply... And by far my favourite service area was in Spain due to Port Aventura
RallyBuzz Q14. Give us a strange or interesting fact about yourself?
I don't know . I am all strange....
RallyBuzz Q15. Best gift given to you by a sponsor or fan?
The best gift I had so far was from my Belgian Team Director, Jean Marc from Team Floral. We had a very difficult rally with them in 2007 in Czech Republic, Barum Rally when we were going second and we had a clutch problem and were almost out of the race; we made it with minimum penalty thanks to the team and Jean Marc himself who also helped with his own hands to take down the gearbox in 20 min service. And finally we finished 2nd and at the end of the year in the prize giving ceremony in Belgium the team made us a cup out of the broken piece of the clutch from Barum Rally. So far that was the best present I had.
RallyBuzz Q16. What was the last movie you saw and did you like it?
Last movie I saw was P.S. I love you and yes I liked it. Very girly movie but sweet.
RallyBuzz Q17. Most drivers have a lucky mascot or lucky thing – do you have one and what is it and why?
I have a small page of prayers in my necklace but I don't always carry it with me.
RallyBuzz Q18. What is your favourite place in the world?
Anywhere there is snow, especially the Alps.
RallyBuzz Q19. Who is the person you most admire?
Michele Mouton and Angelina Jolie
