Dominique Bruyneel won the 2009 RALLYE TERRE du DIOIS in his BMA prepared Subaru S5 WRC and he now moves into the lead of the French gravel championship after 3 rounds. 

Bruyneel finished the rally over a minute and a half ahead of Paul Chieusse's Peugeot 206 WRC, with Cedric Cherain third in a Subaru N12. Belgian driver Bob Colsoul finished in fourth place with his Mitsubishi Lancer Evo X.

BMA boss Bernard Munster retired the Skoda Octavia WRC on SS1 with clutch failure. Laurent Carbonaro was leading the championship going into Diois but failed to finish with his Peugeot 307 WRC. Thomas Privé was leading the rally, in a Mitsubishi Lancer Evo IX, until he crashed out on the penultimate stage.
