
55 crews on the entry list
Four WRC teams are entered in the rally and, apart from Citroën (Loeb and Dani Sordo) and Ford (Mikko Hirvonen and Jari-Matti Latvala), Stobart VK M-Sport Ford Rally Team (Matthew Wilson and Henning Solberg) and the Citroën Junior Team (Evgeny Novikov and Conrad Rautenbach) will fight for Manufacturers‘ points.
Petter Solberg (2003 World Champion), Sébastien Ogier (2008 JWRC Champion), Michał Kosciuszko (2009 JWRC leader) and Michal Solowow (2009 ERC leader) will also be seen on the Masurian gravel stages. Krzysztof Holowczyc, three-time Rally Poland winner (1996, 1998, 2005) will start in Mikolajki behind the wheel of a Stobart Ford Focus WRC.
Rally Poland is also a JWRC round and 10 drivers have chosen to compete for points for the prestigious rally youngsters‘ title. No less than eight crews have entered the Ford Fiesta Cup.
Sixteen Polish drivers have decided to compete against foreign rivals from 22 countries. Apart from Kosciuszko, Solowow and Holowczyc, Michał Bebenek (last year’s Rally Poland winner) and 2003 Polish Champion Tomasz Czopik have confirmed their participation on spectacular gravel stages among the Masurian lakes and forests
There are 15 WRC cars entered, which have not been seen for a long time in Poland.
