Rally Ireland most TV viewers in 2007 WRC

 RI got an estimated 61 million TV viewers in the WRC last year more than any other WRC event. The average figure was 52 million viewers per event. This news comes on the back of RI coming second out of all the WRC events in 2007.

Speculation mounts to see if Northern Ireland will play a role in future RI's as thought may just run as MSI event. Money seems to be an issue for Northern Ireland and Stormont SSS may not be used. Personally feel Stormont will be used to open 2009 WRC but after that, with many of the key figures gone or going (Mosley, Hain, the Paisleys' etc) who knows?
