Sebastien Loeb was once again supreme over the twisty roads of Corsica on day two of the rally to lead the rally by 52.4s. He also eased up a bit during the last stage in his Citroen C4 to let Duval grab a stage win in BP Abu Dhabi Ford Focus.

Loeb quoted by wrc.com:

Okay, today has not been such a big fight - it’s more exciting when we’re fighting, but I prefer to be in this situation than behind. I’m not complaining.” 

Hirvonen still retained second spot today with a small gap to Duval in third but they may be instructed to hold station tomorrow. Latvala was fourth with a turn of speed this afternoon to move ahead of Solberg in the Subaru. Atko was sixth but dropped time to the two ahead of him with a puncture.

Aava was seventh with Tirabassi eighth in the SWRT Impreza. Casualties included Andreas Mikkelsen who had been off in his Focus and punctured losing 4 mins. The two Suzuki's suffered problems on SS11 with PG crashing out and Garde was having engine problems but got going again.

In the JWRC Prokop was back in the lead as Ogier appears to be closing in on the title in 3rd as his only championship rival Burkart is fifth over a minute behind.
