Rajd Orlen 2008 Results: Krzysztof Holowczyc wins as Bouffier secures his second successive Polish title

Polish rally legend Krzysztof Holowczyc drove a faultless rally in a 207 s2000 to win Rajd Orlen by just over 8s from Bryan Bouffier. Bouffier would probably have won the rally but his main priority was to secure the Polish championship which he did with one round to spare in his Peugeot Poland 207 S2000.
Bouffier had a few issues with his choice of gear ratios for the fast and demanding event but had no major dramas. He states he would like to defend his title next year and go for a hat-trick but nothing has been confirmed yet. Michal Solowow took third for a Peugeot clean sweep and he had been embroiled in a battle with Leszek Kuzaj until Kuzaj crashed into a barn.
Kajetanowicz took Group N honors, and second overall in the championship, in his Evo 9 ahead of Bębenek and Dytko in the category.
