Peugeot Sweden are to shut down their rally operation with immediate effect
Peugeot Sweden are to shut down their rally operation with immediate effect leaving Patrik Sandell to look for another seat in 2009, according to Swedish website zport.ze.
Sandell, who drove a 207 S200 in the PWRC for Peugeot Sweden this year, dosen't have any concrete plans for 2009 in the wake of the news. He also drove a Renault Clio R3 in the JWRC and a Skoda Fabia WRC on some rounds of the Norwegian rally championship during the year.
He has been in contact with Peugeot France as he would like to continue in a car that he knows well. In addition, he is also having talks with Abarth and Skoda about possible seats.
