Petter Solberg states that he has been made an offer of a drive in this year's WRC but will wait until tomorrow to make up his mind if he will accept it.
Solberg was at the Autosport Intenational Show for discussions with various teams to try and secure a seat for Rally Norway and the rest of the season.
Solberg stated on his website:
I was informed about this earlier today, and need time to think through this before I give my statementment.I understand that both supporters and the press wants answers to his questions now, but I ask that you give me time until tomorrow.
Indications are that it might be an M-Sport deal, being offered to drive a Focus possibly for the Ramsport team, according to Autosport magazine.
