Mads Ostberg has been testing his new Subaru S14 WRC for the last two days, covering around 200 km, and has been very impressed with the car so far after conducting back to back tests with his S12B.
Ostberg states that he is comfortable with his new mount:
I knew that the car was good, but I am still positively surprised. Not least with how quickly I have become comfortable with the car. The driving characteristics are completely different, that's the biggest change. But also the engine and gearbox is slightly better than the S12B's."
The Adapta team have decided to use Ohlins dampers after testing various ones and they have also made some adjustments to the differential settings to suit Ostberg's driving style. Ostberg will be competing on the first round of the Norwegian rally championship, the upcoming Sigdals Rally, and will be using the S14 as preparation for Rally Norway.
