Citroen Sport boss Olivier Quesnel has indicated that he would like to run a second team next year. Speaking to wrc.com Quesnel stated he would like to have an "M2" team with a young driver in it.
This statement would appear to confirm the speculation that had been thought of for some months now. Sebastien Ogier is probably the favoured young driver and is expected to test a works C4 very soon. Andreas Aigner and Urmo Aava are other driver's that have been tipped for a seat, but a decision will probably not be made for some time.
The quote Quesnel gave wrc.com:
What is the latest news regarding Citroen Manufacturer Teams for 2009?
Next year we will get two official cars for Sebastien and Dani and then I would like to have an M2 team as well. I hope to have a young driver in the M2 but I don't have any names for you at this time."
Ogier would be a favourite for a "M2" C4 seat
