Round 2 on Saturday of the Fuchs Lubricants Rallycross Open Championship at Nutts Corner was won by George Tracey jnr in his Citroen C4. Mike Manning won round 3 on Sunday in the Focus WRC powered Ford Puma.
"Mad Mark Watson" in his Div 1 Citroen Xsara had a spectacular turbo fire in one of the heats which was extinguished by a fire marshal and he was able to continue racing until a blown turbo finally put paid to his day.

Kris Meeke and Kenny McKinstry (pictured above) were in action driving the RX150 buggies with Honda Fireblade engines. Both drivers proved to be spectacular, though McKinstry rolled his machine and Meeke nearly did the same.
