Autofashion.ie Rally Challenge @ Nutts Corner – (Sun) 22 Nov 09

The Autofashion.ie Rally Challenge at Nutts Corner on the 22nd November is all systems go and we have a full entry of the best and the quickest cars in the country. There are twelve 4WD and twenty 2WD cars entered.

As far as I have been told, noise levels was an issue last time on the 11 Oct as there were a couple of cars over the limit because of the continuous firework type back fire from the Group B type cars and also with Mad Mark's rallycross Xsara which he has apparently now got sorted. The more modern Evos etc., are well below the noise levels, so we will all be there from early morning firing on all cylinders.

I'm just going to mention some of the competitors who have confirmed their entries. In the 2WD category we have Drew Stewart, Gary McPhillips, Manus Kelly, Martin Teggart, John Waring, Rodney Wilton, Seamus O'Connell, Steven Nevin, James Kennedy, Daniel Conaghan, Willie Hamilton, Ian Miller, Derek Gurney, Stanley McKeown, Dessie Kearney, William Carey and Eugene Ferry.

Some of the 4WD entrants include; Derek McGeehan, Keiron Graffin, Derek McGarrity, Denis Biggerstaff, Mark Massey, Raymond Johnston, Eoin McErlane, Niall Henry, Brian Muldoon, Seamus Devine, Trevor Ferguson, Gary White, David Whishart and Joe Weir.

The cars will be running at ten second intervals with 4 cars on the stage at same time doing five laps per stage. There will be 4 stages with the best 3 stage times to count on the mixed surface event.

This Rally Challenge will be a great spectacle so don't miss it lads.
