Munchi’s WRT confirm participation as a Manufacturer Team in the 2009 WRC

The Munchi's World Rally Team have today confirmed their participation as a Manufacturer Team in the 2009 WRC, according to therallysite.com.

The Argentinian team will contest eight WRC events, with M-Sport Ford Focus WRCs, but has yet to announce which rallies. Federico Villagra will be the lead driver though it is not yet known who will partner him as team owner Luis Companc has retired from WRC competition. Villagra is 39 years old and began his rallying career in 1994 at the age of 25.

Munchi's competed on ten world rallies last year, scoring eight points as a Manufacturer Team.
