MSD Opel Corsa S2000 will not run as zero car in Germany as no time to test

As was recently expected, MSD boss Dave Whitehead, has confirmed to rallye-magazin.de that the Opel Corsa Super 2000 will not run as course car on Rallye Deutschland. The car is ready to run but there is no way of testing it prior to Germany. Whitehead was unable to confirm when the Opel S2000 will first run, but it is believed it will be on an event in Germany according to comments he made last week.
Whitehead stated to rallye-magazin.de within the last day:
We have worked around the clock in recent. The engine ran on the test stand and is ready but hasn't completed a proper test. We wanted to see the final car complete the same distance in testing as a WRC event. We don't know when the car will have it's first outing."
