Andreas Mikkelsen has been reinstated as the winner of Rally Larvik 2008

In a unanimous decision by the Norwegian Motosport Alliance last night, Andreas Mikkelsen was reinstated as the winner of Rally Larvik following his appeal, as reported by norsk-rally.com.
Mads Ostberg's Adapta team lodged a protest alleging Andreas cut his tyres out of the service area and at a stage start, which they understood was forbidden by the regulations. Mikkelsen was then excluded from the event following the protest and Ostberg declared the provisional winner. However, Mikkelsen appealed the decision and last night his appeal was upheld. Mikkelsen now returns to the top of the Norwegian Rally Championship standings.
