Rising Finnish star Matti Rantanen will drive a Ramsport 06 Focus at NORF

Finnish Rally Championship driver Matti Rantanen has secured a deal to drive a second Ramsport Focus on Rally Finland 2008. Rantanen will partner Andreas Mikkelsen for a two car assault on the rally classic.

Rantanen, 27, is more familiar with Group N power as has been contesting his national series in an Evo. He states on his website that he will try and compete with the top privateers and is also keen to see how his stage times compare with the works drivers.

More speculation is mounting about Andreas Mikkelsen possibly driving for Subaru next year as conducted a TV interview with Richard Taylor on NRK.
