Markko Martin looks set to compete on The Richard Burns Memorial Rally

Markko Martin looks set to compete on The Richard Burns Memorial Rally at RAF Marham, near Swaffham in Norfolk. Martin will probably use a Prodrive Subaru but not yet known if he will use the latest model, or an older one. The event will take place on 13-14 September 2008. Martin was team mate to Burns at Prodrive in 2001 and became a close friend. Other big name drivers and teams are expected to enter and the event may run to a capacity of a 140 entries.

Organisers anticipate approx 5000 spectators to attend. Regulations are available to download (site also has event news etc) from the 30th  June at http://www.kingslynndmc.co.uk/

All proceeds from the event will be split between the Richard Burns Foundation and the Royal Air Force Benevolent Fund.
