Kronos driver Freddy Loix has been testing a Peugeot Sport 207 S2000 recently in Belgium ahead of the 2009 Ypres Westhoek Rally.
He has won the Ypres rally a record five times and will be clear favourite again this year. Though Loix will face some stiff opposition from the likes of his Kronos team-mates, Basso, Kopecky if he starts and Francois Duval in a Skoda S2000.
Loix currently lies second overall in the IRC standings, two points behind series leader Kris Meeke.
Meanwhile, Belgian rally legend Patrick Snijers has just confirmed that he will contest Ypres in a Rene Georges Rally Sport VW Polo S2000.
