Sebastien Loeb is to contest the Rallye du Chablais on May 29-30 in a Citroen C2 s1600, with his wife Severine once again in the co-drivers seat.
The event is the third round of the Swiss rally championship which Loeb has been a long time supporter of the rally as he lives nearby. The C2 S1600 will be Pirelli shod this time.
Loeb commented on his participation on the rally:
Last year, in my message, I had promised that I would make it possible to visit you in 2009. By pledging this, I did not think of participating in the event, but this will now be the case. It is thus with joy that I will introduce myself at the beginning of the Rally of Chablais at the wheel of the Citroen C2 Super 1600 with, by my side, my wife Severine.
Sebastien Loeb contested the French championship Rallye du Var last year in a C2 S1600, on BFGoodrich tyres, with his wife co-driving and finished an excellent third overall.
