Sebastien Loeb has stated that he would consider a switch to Formula 1 in 2010 if a serious offer was made, according to eurosport.com.
Loeb has recently stated that he is not happy with the current and impending changes to the WRC such as the 2009 calendar, a possible switch to standard S2000 cars in the future, and the tyre regulations.
The five time world rally champion impressed many observers at his recent F1 test at Barcelona where he posted 8th fastest time in the Red Bull Racing RB4.
Loeb commented to the French paper Liberation:
The team bosses think I am too old, but mentally I am not: age would not be an obstacle for me.
With a testing programme in 2009, I would go to the Formula One grid in 2010."
These comments by Loeb have added to the speculation that the PSA group might consider an F1 project in the not too distant future.
