Kris Meeke has entered Rally Catalunya 2008 in a Renault Clio R3

According to his website Kris Meeke has entered Rally Catalunya in a Renault Clio R3 similar to the one he used on Rally Russia earlier this year.

Kris commented about the deal on his website:

To be honest, this is a different kind of challenge to Germany, and I am genuinely looking forward to it. I believe the Renault R3 will be perfectly suited to this event, and while I don't expect to be competing with the S1600 cars at the front, the plan is to just drive at my own level and take it from there. I’m just glad to be back at WRC level and keeping match-fit!”

Meeke will have Chris Patterson sitting with him as the deal was too late in the day for Paul Nagle to be available. Kris used an R3 Clio on Rally Russia a few months ago (pictured above) and recently competed on Rally Germany in an S1600 Clio.
