Roman Kresta will compete in a Super 2000 car for the first time

Roman Kresta will drive a 207 S2000 on the Rallysprint Kopna in the Czech Republic and also the Barum Rally in Zlin. The rallysprint event is very popular with the Czech's and an important date in their motorsport calendar.

This will be Kresta's first competitive outing in a S2000 car as has been more accostumed to driving an Evo9 of late. The 207 will be run by Peugeot Hungary and be sponsored by the AOP Racing Club for the July 18-19th event. The 207 was used by Janos Toth who drves for Peugeot Hu. Kresta states the run in Kopna is primarily a test run for the forthcoming Barum Rally. Five S2000's are expected to compete as well as a couple of Skoda Octavia WRC's. Kresta's main rival on the day is expected to be Grzegorz Grzb who will be driving a Punto S2000.
