Leading the rally after stage 6 is Luca Rossetti in his 207 by 26secs from the Grifone Fiat of Travaglia. Vouilloz is third after suffering a puncture on SS5 losing 45secs. The lead swapped several times between these three during the day. Alen is 0.4secs behind Vouilloz but not happy with performance while Kopecky 6th is off the pace at present.

Problems affected several of the top runners, Volkan Isik lost 3mins on SS2 with a puncture while Loix also suffered a puncture on SS3 losing nearly 4mins as couldn't get car down from jack. Basso lost 10mins on SS4 after a roll. Solowow retired his Punto on SS4 with engine damage.
