Eurosport Events have announced a provisional calendar for the 2010 Intercontinental Rally Challenge season.
There is one significant change, however, from the original proposal as Rally Japan is dropped in favour of IRC newcomer Rally d'Italia Sardegna.
Meanwhile, both Portugal and Italy will host two events on the calendar, while Argentina (pending agreement with event promoter) and Cyprus (final round) join the series for the first time. Rallye du Valais was hoping to return in 2010, but it appears to have lost out to Asturias.
Rally Scotland will form the penultimate event in the championship next year, taking place October 14-16.
