Circuit of Ireland 2010 – Day 1 Video Clip

Video highlights from day one of the 2010 UTV Drive Circuit of Ireland Rally, which is currently being led by Fermanagh's Alastair Fisher in a Group N Mitsubishi Lancer Evo 9.

The VW Race Touareg, which is being driven by Dieter Depping as the course opening car, is also featured in the clip.

Meanwhile, the leading National Rally crews are safely through both Slieve Gullion stages after SS9 was cancelled, and Kenny McKinstry now leads the event by almost six minutes from his daughter, Emma.

However, third placed John Waring has yet to appear on the timesheets after the second Gullion stage. It seems he may have struck trouble during the test, which would allow Raymond Conlin and Darren McCague into the final podium slot at the end of leg one.
